Ix>ok-Out Ray, S.S. Prohibition, January 7, 1931. Dear Everybody, interested in our 1931 voyage,—The happiest of New Years, and all good wishes, and earnest prayers for a ship full to capacity with willing workers. I hope those of you who have been ashore on leave for Christmas and the New Year have had a time of perfect enjoyment, and that your holidays have l>een care free and perfect to the minutest detail. With 1931 a week old, our eyes are turning once more to Eook-Out Bay, where our ship dropped anchor nearly a month ago, ami we are watching for the hoisting of the Blue Peter signal for renewed activity. Another year, vital with opportunities of sacrificial service, has already dawned. The achievements of the past years fill us wdth gratitude, and as the vista of the future opens we press steadily forward, shod with golden hope because of the sure and certain victory revealed to the long gaze of faith. Let us keep our mental attitude keyed up to the song of victory, as we put our hearts and hands .o the tasks of the
present year of privilege in service for the cgming of Clod’s Kingdom. Yours for the ship's welfare, BEATRICE M. HARBANI).
