CORRESPONDENCE.
The Editor, "Waiapu Church Gazette," Napier. Dear Sir, — This Society is anxious to find a young ordained man of C.M.S. sympathies to go out as an assistant to Rev. C. W. Haskell at Karachi. India. Mr. Haskell's district is 200 miles long, and approximately 100 miles wide, and includes the City of Karachi and hundreds of villages, and he is the only ordained Anglican missionary m the whole of that immense district. He has the management of the Boys' High School m addition to parochial work m the City of Karachi, and is responsible for the evangelistic work both there .and m the villages. Mr. Haskell writes of the vast opportunities for work m the district and says that the work has grown almost beyond his powers. The Society realises the strain under which he is working and fears that his health may break down unless help can be sent to him. I am directed to ask if you would be so kind as to give publicity m your publication, to this appeal. Any further information desired we will be pleased to furnish. Thanking you m anticipation, Yours sincerely, C. A: GOLDSMITH, c.m;s ; , Lay Secretary. (We gladly publish this appeal. — Ed.)
