Waipiro Bay.
Vicar: Rev. J. Pigott. The annual meeting of the parishioners of the Waipiro Bay Parochial District was held m the Council Chambers, Waipiro Bay, on Tuesday, May 23rd, at 1.30 p.m., the Vicar presiding. The balance-sheet showed a total expenditure of £936 12s 2d, £465 9s 3d of which was paid . over for special purposes. This the meeting considered very gbbd, more especially as the Tuparoa Church Committee had paid over about £150 for special purposes which is not .in T eluded m the above amount. The total receipts amounted to £949 Os sd. It was decided to call tenders for the repair of the Vicarage as specified by Mr Brown. Mrs Mead
proposed and' Mr. A. B. Williams seconded that each sub-district be recommended to raise by special' effort,, funds to enable it to pay its" quota to repair, the Vicarage and to-keep-some money m reserve. — Carried. The election of officers resulted as follows :— Synodsman, Mr W. Oates, senr.'; Vicar's warden, Mr A. B. Willianas; people's warden, Mr T. J. Willianis ; vestry, Messrs A. M 7, Beale (hon. treasurer), C. E. Nurse (auditor), J. S. C. Dalgairus, F. Thompson, H. H. Fairlie, K. S..Williams, J. Busby, H. L. Ellis (hon. secretary), Miss Davis and Mrs Mead.
