Vicar: Rev. F. W. Whibley. The annual balance-sheet showed general church collections received £76 Is Bd, special (for missions, etc.) £79 lis 4d; total receipts £507 16s; debit balance, £12 2s 9d. - In his annual report the Vicar called' attention to an increase during the year ; in r church attendance, and offerings. He thanked all church porkers, especially the lay readers, Messrs Fothergill' and Speight, the churchwardens, vestry, lady helpers and origanists. Three churches m the parish are being painted as labor is available. . Consideration of the tender is^ postponed till August t ; ih the hope 6f prices being reduced.
