DANNEVIRKE BRANCH.

I have great pleasure m reporteing very satisfactory progress during- the present year. This branch now numbers 32 members, and 6 more are attending meetings with the intention of joining. Two members have gone away, and one has ceased to attend. Through all the dreadful weather we have had an average attendance of 20. We have had two drawing-room meetings, which were very much enjoyed. " ( Members have been very good m contributing songs and readings, but we should be very glad of an address from an outsider now and again. We very much regret 'that at the end of the year we are likely to lose our President, Mrs. Baton. She has worked most splendidly m every way. " L. M. GIESEN, Hon. Secretary.
