Discharged. I Constable George Flanagan No. G6l Dismissed. Constable Patrick McGrath No. GBO Constable William Rooney No. 565 (VidePolice Gazette, 1874, page 21.) The silver lever hunting watch No. 12967, maker, Coates & Co., Christchurch, reported as stolen from Spring’s Hotel, Southbndge, Canterbury, lias been recovered by the Canterbury Police. (Vide Police Gazette , 1875, page 20.) Fannie Ollivie charged, on warrant with obtaining, drapery goods from Messrs. Herbert, Haynes, & Co. at Dunedin, by mans of a forged order, has been arrested by Constable Henderson, Dunedin police. (Vide Police Gazette 1378, page 1). William Richardson charged on warrant with escaping from the custody of Constable Peter M‘Donald, on the 4th January, 1873, at Port Chalmers, has been arrested. Joseph Attiwell, charged on warrant with neglecting to provide for the support of his children in the Industrial School, has been arrested by Constable MTCelvey, Anderson’s Bay police. ( Vide Police Gazette, 1875, page 23.) The horse reported as supposed to have been ■stolen from Caversham, the property of David Kirkness, has been recovered, (Vide Police Gazette 1874, page 20.) Alfred Horley, the offender described as having wilfully exposed his person to Annie Rotchford and Helen S. Wardroper, in Clyde and Cumberlandstreets, Dunedin, has been arrested by Sergeant Hanlon, North Dunedin police, and sentenced to 21years imprisonment with hard labor, for having on five occasions, indecently exposed his person to children. {Vide Canterbury Police Gazette 1875, page 42.) Thomas Weir charged on warrant with larceny as a bailee, at Christchurch, has been arrested by Constable Henderson, Dunedin police, and remanded to Christchurch. (Vide Police Gazette 1875, page 19.) William Adams charged on warrant with uttering a valueless cheque to Archibald Blue, at Clyde, has been arrested by Constable Scott, Palmerston police, and sentenced to three months labor. (Vide Police Gazette 1875, page'ld) Mary Jane Gibbs charged on warrant with disobeying a summons to answer a charge of having prevoked a breach of the peace, has been arrested by ♦Sergeant O'Neill, Dunedin police.
