\ : (Vide-'Police Gazette, 1873, page 9.) , The lady’s gold watch, reported as . stolen from the dwelling of James Robby, Balclutha, about the 10th of February last, has been found concealed in a flax bush near Mr Robby’s residence.•

The leather o case containing l jewellery, stolen on the 13th instant from the waggon of John Morgan, at Peattie’s .Hotel, Papakaio, has been recovered.

On the night of the 13th instant a pine tree, growing in front of the residence of Mr Warren, Campbelltown, was maliciously half cut through.. Mr Warrren offers <£s reward on conviction of the offender or offenders.

Lost on the 15th instant by Mrs J. T. Thomson, in George street, Dunedin,' a sable boa.'

On the morning of the 3rd instant, two lamps, value 12s, the property of the Lawrence Municipal Corporation, were maliciously broken.

James Hayes, charged on warrant with failing to appear on summons to be examined in Bankruptcy at the District Court, Greymouth, has been arrested by the Melbourne police.
