ROYAL VISIT TO CATHOLIC COLLEGE.

The Queen and Princess Mary motored last week from Balmoral Castle to make some visits in Aberdeen (says the London Catholic Times of September 18). At Blair’s College they were conducted through the more interesting parts of the building. They took especial interest in some of the fine old paintings in the drawing-room of the college. These included paintings of Mary Queen of Scots and of “Bonnie Prince Charlie.” In the library they viewed, amongst other manuscripts, letters written by Mary Queen of Scots. They took in the beautiful college chapel in their rounds. Before leaving, they expressed to the college authorities their appreciation of their reception and of what they had seen. They were given a heartv send-off by the assembled students.
