How often the people sigh, and say, “If I only knew what God wanted me to do!” You can be sure that in helping to save souls you are doing His will. \ Blessed are they who give the flower of their days and the strength of their soul and body to Him ; blessed, are they who in their youth turn to Him who gave His life for them, and would . fain give it. to them and implant it in them, that they may live forever. Blessed are they who resolve— come good, come evil, come sunshine, come tempest, come honor, come dishonorthat He shall be their Lord and Master, their King and God ! Love is the wine of life, ihe man who has the • affection of many friends is rich, even though he has little money. He is richer than those among the wealthy whose cold, repulsive natures driye hearts away from them. The ability to make people like us is a wonderful gift. Some men possess it in a marvellous degree; "they make friends .without effort.
