India-rubber trees which are tapped every other day continue to yield sap for more than 20 years, and it is a curious fact that the oldest and most frequently tapped trees produce the richest sap. Charity is our passport for heaven, and since wo know not when we shall have to present our papers for examination we must have them in order.—Madame Cecilia. Man’s greatest enemy is himself. If every one should be as careful of deserving an honest opinion of himself as he is of securing the good opinion of others there would be a vast difference in the standing of the majority of mankind. Look carefully into yourself and discover your own flaws.
