Rev. J. A. Cullen, S.J., who presided at the annual meeting of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association, in the Dublin Mansion House on November 29, said the Pioneer organisation counted approximately about 325,000 members. In the Irish priesthood one-third were practising total abstinence, and their ecclesiastical and lay colleges were filled with total abstaining students. °
