Sunday, March 26, was a red letter day in Fairlie, as we had the pleasure of welcoming his Lordship -Bishop Brodie to■ the parish. His Lordship came to bless and open the new presbytery, and this being his first official function since his consecration, we are proud of the fact 'that we were able to receive him so soon. K His Lordship celebrated the 9 -. o’clock Mass, when the members of the newly-formed branch of the H.A. Society in regalia • approached the Holy Table. : In the course of his Lordship’s sermon he congratulated the Hibernians on forming a >.
