(From our own correspondent.) September 9. The annual meeting of St. Mary’s Tennis Club took place last week, when there was a large attendance. Miss Edmonds (secretary) . read a lengthy report, and the balance sheet was read by Miss Waters (treasurer). Both were adopted. The club decided to tar and sand the courts. The election of officers resulted as follows;Patron, Very Rev. Dean Darby; president, Mr. P. Ryan vice-presidents, Rev. Father Duffy, Dr., Noonan, Messrs. Ryan, T. Dillon, E. De Vinney McGarrigle, and McGarry; committee—dames Edmonds, McGarrigle, Peebles, Miss Casey, Messrs. W. Henderson, A. Chitty, E. Sweeney, and O. Edmonds; secretary, Miss Donohue j treasurer.
