A M.D.G. GUILD, DUNEDIN

The second annual meeting of the A.M.D.G. Guild a branch of the Association of Perpetual Adoration, having its English headquarters at Balham, London, and which has tor its object perpetual adoration and work for poor churches, was held at the residence of Mrs. Kennedy, Bellevue street, Roslyn, on December 8. There was a fair attendance of members, including Rev. Father Corcoran (spiritual director). The annual report, which was presented by the secretary (Miss M. Callan), stated that notwithstanding the difficulties and discouragements inseparable from a young society, much good and useful work had been done since its inception about two vears ago Hie following articles had been made and distributed "to churches throughout New Zealand:—lo altar cloths, 20 yards lace for altars, 4 albs with lace. 1 altar cover, amices, ]3 corporals, 14 purificators, 6 palls with embroidery and lace 24 lavabos, 2 girdles, 1 priest's stock, 2 smal stoles, 1 tabernacle curtain. These represented an outlay of about £2O, while the subscriptions for tho two years of the Guild's existence amounted to £6 15s In order to provide the balance fancy articles were made and sold by the Guild.
