(From our own correspondent.) December 18/ Rev.' Father Lezer, of Meanee, arrived to-day in order to assist the Rev. Father Galerne during the Christmas holidays. On November 27 the Roy. Father Creagh, C.SS.R., opened a mission in the Sacred Heart Church. The Masses and evening devotions during the ten days of the mission were very well attended. During the mission Rev. Father Creagh enrolled nearly every member of the parish in' the Sacred Heart Society, and on December 8 received five young ladies into the confraternity of Children of IVlary. ' On Sunday morning, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, very large numbers received Holy Communion. During the mission the altars of the Sacred Heart and of the Blessed Virgin were beautifully decorated by the Sisters ' of Mercy. The mission was brought to a close"" on gunday, December 8, when the Rev. Father' Creagh - announced his intention of coming back early next year to give a mission in the country places.
