On Friday a Triduum in honor of the Blessed Sacrament, and in accordance ' with the directions of the Holy Father, will be commenced in St. Joseph's Cathedral. On Sunday there was Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Joseph's Cathedral from the last Massuntil Vespers. In the evening there was the usual procession. The sermon at Vespers was preached by 'the T Rev. Father Lowham, C.SS.R. His Lordship. the Bishop administered the Sacrament . ot Confirmation at Ranfurly on Sunday, and will confirm a number of condidates at Ophir on next Sunday On Sunday, December 15, the Sacrament -of Confirmation will be administered in St. Josephs-C athedral. The mission at the Sacred Heart Church, Northeast Valley, by the Redemptorist Fathers was brought to a close on Sunday evening. The various exercises ot the mission during the week were very well attended, especially in the evenings, when the accommodation was taxed to its utmost. Rev.
