Fat Cattle.— ls4 head yarded, this number comprising a farge percentage of prime bullocks. Ihese met with a brisk sale, prices bejng about equp.l to last week's. Medium sorts did not meet with the same attention. Best bullocks, £10 10s to £11 10s'; extra heavy, up to £83 5s ; medium, £8 to £10 ; light, £6 5s to £7 lOte'; best cows and heifers, X 8 to £9 2s 6s; medium, £6 to £7 10s ; light, £5 to £5 15s. Sheep.— The yarding totalled 2100, prices being on a par with last week's rates. Extra heavy wethers, up to 28s ; best wethers, 23s to 25s ; med.um, 18s 6d t o 21s ; best ewes, 20s 3d to 22s ; extra heavy, up to 25s 3d ; medium, 15s to 17s 6d. Lambs. — There was only a small yarding of 200, and any fit for export met with a ready sale. B^est lambs, 17s to 19s ; medium, 15s to 16s 6d ; light, 12s to 14s. Pigs.— There was a sma'l yarding of 51. A line of prime bacon pigs from South Canterbury met with a brisk sale and brojght fairly high prices. Other sorts also met with good demand. Suckers, 7s to Us; slips 13s to 18s ; stores, l'9s to 23s ; porkers, 28s to 38s ; light ba,coners, 4Js to 48s ; heavy do, 50s to 61s.
