For prime beasts, however, there was a good sale. Best bullocks, £8 los to £10 , medium to good, aw 15s to £6 10s ; best cows and heifers, £b to £7 15s ; others, £4 15s to ±,5 10s. Sheep.— There was a yarding ot lbso, these consisting of a few pens of extra prime wethers; the balance being medium weights. Prices were fully on a par with last week's rates, .bxtra prime, 26s 9d ; prime, 19s 6<i to 21s 6d ; medium, 17s to 18s Gd ; best heavy ewes 18s to 19s 9d ; good, 16s to 175.. Lauj.bs.~92o yarded. Best lambs, 16s to 17s ; medium, 14s 6d to 15s id ; light, 10s to 12s. Pigs.— l 27 yarded, tnere being a few pens of porkers and baconers, t/he balance being small sorts. For porkers and baconers prices were firm at late rates Suckers,, Us to 8s ; slips, 10s to Its ; stores, 18s to 28si; porkers, 82s to 36s ; light baconers, '39s to 45s ; heavy do 48s to 565.
