Common sixties, 22£ d ; super, 2,5^d. London, June 17 — The sheepskin sales were dull Combing declined a halfpenny to three-farthings, short-wooled a halfpenny. Messrs. Stronach Bros, and Morris report as follows :: — • Eabbitskins — Market firm. Winters, 13d to 14Jd ; autumns, lOd to 12Jd ; summers, 7d to 9£d ; blacks up to 23£ d per 10. Sheepskins — Market unchanged. Hides — Market slightly easier. Prime heavy ox, 4d to l^d ; medium. 3Jd to 3Jd ; cow hides, 3£d to 3£d per lb. Tallow — Market steady. Best rendered mutton, 18s tn 21s ; medium, 15s 6d to 17s Gd ; rough fat, 12s Gd to 1 Is per cwt. Messrs. Edward Thomas and Co., Bond streeet, Dunedin > report : — RABBITSKINh — Despite the unhealthy look of the London market the local one is pretty brisk, and at Monday's sales the following were about the prices paid : — Suckers and small 2d to Id ; summers, 5d to 7sd ; early autumns, 8d to 9£d ; prime autumns, lOd to ll^d ; early winters, 12d to 12id ; prime, from 13d to 14^d for picked clear pelted. Sheepskins — Sound pelted butchered merino, 4Jd to s^d ; halfbreds. 4sd to 5d ; crossbreds, 3|d to 4Jd, according to growth of wool ; pelts, 3d to Is each. Fallen parcels are somewhat neglected. HAIR — Good mixed horse, I4d to 15d per lb. Hides — The market has experienced a sharp decline, present rulings being for well flayed sound ox, 3d to 4d ; cow, 2^d to 3 \d ; calfskins, sound up to Is 7d ; cut and damaged, Gd to lOd.
