Addington Stock Market. The entries at Addington to-day comprised 13,841 sheep and lambs, 373 cattle, 636 pigs. Business had a satisfactory tone. Fat Cattle — Steers brought L 5 to L 6 17s 6d ; heifers, L 4 to L 5 17s 6d ; cows, L 3 17s 6d to L 6 12s 6d, the latter price being for exceptionally good animals. Best beef averaged 17s to ISs per 1001 b : other sorts, 12s to 16s. Fat Sheep — The entry was large. The supply of freezing sheep being good, prices all round showed an advance. Freezers brought 16s to 18* 8d ; best ewes 11s to 13d 6d, and up to 16s 3d for extra prime lots ; merino wethers, 130 Bd.

Fat Lambs— Competition was keen, best lots bringiag 15s to ISs 7d ; ordinary freezers, 11s 6d to 14s 6d ; trade lambs. 9s to 11s. Store Sheep— The bulk of store sheep came from the North Island, Blenheim, and Nelson, business .being brisk. Best wethers brought 13s to 14a 6d, a line of nearly fat 15s lOd ; othsr wethers, Us to 12s 9d ; sound mouth breeding ewes, 10s to 123 ; backward ewes , and culls, 6s to 9a ; best Jamb 3, 9s to 11s 3d ; culls, 63 to 8s 6d. Pigs were in good supply, and prices were a shade easier. Bacons, 44s to 555; pork-rs, 30s to 40 «; stores, 20s to 34s 6d; weaners, 14s 6d to 18s ; suckers, 6s to 12s. A line of 70 North Island stores brought 18s 6d to 34s ; baconer3 brought 4d per lb : porkers, 3fd to 4^d.
