DIOCESE OF AUCKLAND.

Auckland, August 23. The Bishop left for Wellington via West Coast on the ISth insfc., to attend a meeting of the Hierarchy to be held on the 21th. A large number of friends and clerical laymen attended the railway station to see his Lordship off. The Bishop proposes to make en route, a short stay with Father Kirk, Wanganui.
