Dairy Produce — There is no change to note in the market, and being no demand for export, prices, in consequence, show no improvement; late quotations apply for both butter and chese. Fat Sheep: — At no time during the sale was the demand very brisk, and prices showed little or no improvement on last week's Pigs. — The demand was exceedingly slack aud prices all through ruled in favour of buyers. Store Sheep. — There is already some inquiry for young sheep, those who have an early pasture being evidently alive to the fact that they can buy cheaper now than when the pinch for lack of feed has passed. Hides.— Market unchanged. For 601 b hides 2|d to 3d, 651 b and upwards £d to Id more ; medium weights, 2d to 2|d ; inferior, Id to I*l per lb. Tallow. — As manufacturers are not dependent upon supplies from the country, the scarcity has no effect on values. k Wool. — No transactions of much importance transpiring in the 9 local market. Sheepskins — These as usual command good attention, all sorts being in request. Competition was spirited for all classes, the finer woolled skins again having tbe most attention. Rabbitskins — The supply, although on the increase, seems to be still a long way short of requirements. The demand is very good, and the auction sales well attended. Competition continues very keen up to certain values.

Grain— Wheat : The market continues very quiet. Millers have sufficient stock on hand for immediate requirements. Potatoes— Lines arriving for immediate sale can only be quitted at very unsatisfactory prices. Chaff— There is an excellent enquiry, and a large supply could at present be placed, and would meet with a quick clearance.
