Great uneasiness is felt regarding the Pope's health. He never rises from his chair, and his weakness is general and increasing. The French election for the Council is proceeding. At a meeting of the Left it was decided that no member should assume the formation of a Cabinet without a guarantee against sudden dismissal. The Indian Famine Fund has closed. The total amount subscribed was £44G,000. November Bth. Ihe Jrench Chambers met yesterday, and after some formal business the Senate adjourned. Grevy was elected President.
