Auckland. — binoculars described hereunder were found in possession of a youth who attempted to sell them to a second-hand dealer on 24th April, 1944, but the owner has not been located : A pair of black Carl Zeiss, 7 xSO magnifications, No. 1830653, scratches on leather and metal parts. .. . f v w** i i
Otahuiiu. On 14th February last, the bicycle described hereunder was found in possession of Stephen John Condon, referred to in Police Gazette, 1945, page 199, and Photographs, 1939, page 77, who has been convicted of stealing it, but the owner has not been located : A gentlemen’s black, No. C. 163259, black rubber grips, rubber pedals, Lycetts leather saddle, Penrose tire on front wheel, Clipper tire on rear wheel ; value, about £6.
Wiiakatane. On Bth January last, the overcoat described hereunder was found in possession of Charles Howard, referred to in Police Gazette, 1945, page 102, but the owner has not been located : A gentlemen’s air-force-blue heavy, of medium size, branded “ Showerproof, Prooftex, Unshrinkable.” ZZjsJ+S
Miramar. The bicycle described hereunder was found in Seatoun Road, Kilbirnie, on 31st January last, but the owner has not been located: A ladies’ black Phillips, No. A. 69304, straight handle-bars, Brooks saddle with oilskin cover, rubber pedals, rear carrier, Palmer Roadster tire on front wheel, Reidrubber tire on rear wheel.
