PERSONS WANTED
Kaitaia. —28th July last, on warrant for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife and three children, Tonga Minhinnick, age thirtyfour, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, curly brown hair, grey eyes, bad teeth, boil-scars on legs ; a half-caste Maori. Arrears to 10th May last, £2O. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page. 178.)
Auckland. 27th May last, for false pretences, Pat Bourke (name probably fictitious), age about fifty-eight, height about 5 ft. 9 in., shearer and drover, native of Australia, medium build, tanned complexion, brown hair going bald, blue eyes, cast in right eye, thin lips, wears glasses. He obtained £3 15s. in money from Frank Albert Loft, boardinghouse proprietor, 101 Hobson Street, by falsely representing that he was in a position to supply three dozen towels and that they would be delivered from Whangarei on 30th May last. Complainant gave him a cheque for £3 10s., which he cashed at Auckland on 28th May last. No warrant.
Auckland. —12th instant, on warrant for failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for tho support of his seven children, William Richard Tohu, referred to in Police Gazette, 1944, page 445. Arrears to 20th June last, £207 Bs. M £ iO’/mAj/j.
