APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Whangarei.— Paul Samuel Graham, absent from Army, has been arrested by " the Taupo police. He is identical with Paul Graham, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 290. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 937.)

Whangarei.— Hiwaki Rihari, absent from Army, has been arrested by Hie Helensville police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 949.)

Devonport. — Stanley Richard Jacehson, absent from Navy, has been arrested by the. Devonport police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 232.)

Auckland. Raymond Morris, alias Bert Mercs. forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Auckland* police, and he admitted the offence. He is identical with dahil ESParf McDonald, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 958. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 263.)

Auckland.— Franks Taylor, alias Jongs, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Auckland* police,' and he admitted the offence. He is identical with John Bernard McDonald. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 119.)

Auckland. R. And!!, alias Frank Clarke, forgery and uttering, has beeif interviewed bjuffie AucKicJnd police, but insufficient evidence was obtained to sustain' the charge. He is identical with John Bernard McDonald. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 421, and 1939, page 391.)

Auckland. — John Alexander Morris, failing to report for medical examination, has been arrested by the Kaitaia police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 757.)

- Auckland.— Leonard Albert Wells and Allen Oliver Codlin, absent from Army : Warrants cancelled. (See" Police Gazette, 1942, page 922.)

Auckland.- -Frederick Lorraine Turner, absent from Army Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 949.)

Paeroa.— John Hamilton Walker, failing to report for military service, has' deen arrested by the New Lynn police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 831.)

Hamilton.— Jones, forgery and uttering : John .Bernard McDonald has been interviewed regarding this offence, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 598.)

Hamilton.— Leslie Collecuit, inquired for, has been interviewed by Mount police. He is identical with Lesiie Thomas Coldictrit. referred to in Police Gazette, 1935, page 611, anTTKotographs, page 30, but he assumed the name Leslie George Wilson. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 547.)
