Auckland.— JAMES HARVEY’S watch, &c., stolen: The suit, razor, ring, and socks have been recovered by the Auckland police, and John Leslie Notman, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 413, charged with the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 271.)
Otahuhu.— OLlVEß CHARLES CHANDLER’S violin and case have been recovered by the Auckland police. They were pledged with a pawnbroker for £1 on the 29th May, 1941, by a Man who gave the name “O. Chandler.” (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 477.)
Huntly.— AFTON COLLIERIES, LTD., bearings, &c., stolen : The brass bearings have been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 290.)
Hastings. TOUßlST MOTOR CO., warehouse broken into : Portion of the stolen property has been recovered by the Hastings police, and the offender convicted. (Sec Police Gazette, 1939, page 183.)
Wellington.— MARTIN LESLIE’S bicycle has been recovered by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 347.).
Wellington. RAYMOND NELSON PERCIVAL’S bicycle has been recovered by the Wellington police, and the offender dealt with. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 347.)
Wellington. LINDSAY ALLEN’S bicycle has been recovered by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 390.)
Dunedin.— BOWMAN HUDSON’S bicycle has been recovered by the Mosgiel police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 391.)
