Auckland. JOHN HINDS DALE’S trailer (without tires and tubes) has been recovered by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 590.)
Gisborne.— FREDERICK VALENTINE’S cheques stolen: The cheque, No. 0.81675, was not stolen it having been cashed by complainant on the 20th November last. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 52.)
Wanganui. —TAHU PAETAHA’S watch-chain has been found, not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 942.)
Palmerston North. — MACDUFF’S LTD., warehouse broken into : Portion of the stolen property has been recovered by the Palmerston North police, and Thomas Alexander McGregor, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 66, convicted of the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 91.)
Dunedin. —DAVID RITCHIE’S bicycle has been recovered by the Dunedin police, and the offender located. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 222.)
