Devonport. Theo Desmond Allen, absent from Navy: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 406.)

Auckland. — Gladys Shaw, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 808.)

Auckland. Hugh Thomas Smith, inquired for, has paid his Social Security Contributions, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 390.)

Auckland.— Leslie George Webley, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Frankton Junction police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 389.)

Auckland. — William Henry Dilnot, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the Parnell police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 139.)

Whakatane. — Laurence Rossi ter, default of maintenance: The warrant has been executed by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 324.)

Napier. Arthur Gray, alias Gibson, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Gisborne police, (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 158.)

Wanganui. — Patrick Bernard Parker, on licensed premises during prohibited hours, has been served with the summons by the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 299.)

Palmerston North.— Jack James John Garfield Paterson, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Palmerston North Police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 390.)

Foxton. — H. A. Clayton, false pretences: Harold Avery Clayton has been arrested by the Lower Ilutt police and he admitted this offence. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 372.)

Foxton.— Charles Ratu, referred to in Police Gazette, 1940, page 286, and Photographs, page 13, died in the Porirua Mental Hospital on the 19th October, 1940.

Johnsonville. Edward Preston, escaping from Mental Hospital, has been located by the Roslyn police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 646.)

Christchurch. — Norman Darcy Bryden, failing to maintain: The warrant has been executed by the Mount Cook police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 686.)

Christchurch. — George Henderson, failing to provide Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 560.)

Christchurch. — Robert John Hegan, convicted of being intoxicated in charge of a motor-car (see Police Gazette, 1941, page 367) : At a rehearing on the 22nd ultimo the disqualification imposed on him under the Motor-vehicles Act was varied in that as from the 14th April last he is disqualified from driving for one year except the driving of a road machine. All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
