PROPERTY RECOVERED.

AuckIand.— NORTHAMPTON BOOT FACTORY, LTD., shoes stolen : Francis Theodore Lichtwark, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 310, has been convicted of this offence, and evidence disclosed that the stolen property had been destroyed except one shoe which was recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 35.)

Auckland. ROßEßT MILTON ANDERSON’S bicycle stolen : The front wheel and lighting-set have been recovered by the Auckland police, and Edward Gilmore Owen Stockman, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 11, admitted the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 338.)

Wanganui. JOHN ERNEST RIORDEN’S (correct name JOHN ERNEST REARDON) bicycle lias been recovered by the Wanganui police, and the offender located. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 970.)

Wanganui.— DOUGLAS MORLEY PATCHETT’S bicycle has been recovered by the Wanganui police, and the offender located. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 299.)

Wellington.— GlLßEßT LLEWELLYN ROBERT HENDERSON’S piano-accordion has been recovered by the Palmerston North police, it having been sold to a secondhand dealer on the 27th February last by a Man (name unknown), age about twenty-six, height about 5 ft. 9 in., soldier, medium build, fresh complexion, black hair ; wearing battle dress and Glengarry hat; well spoken; pleasant manner. Greymouth. .JOHN WALTER RAPLEY’S bicycle stolen: The frame of the stolen bicycle has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 358.)

Christchurch. —EDNA MOSS’S bicycle stolen : A small piece of the frame has been recovered by the Christchurch police, and the offender located. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 928.)
