REGULATIONS UNDER THE REGULATIONS ACT, 1936.
Serial Number 1940/319. THE TRANSPORT LEGISLATION SUSPENSION ORDER 1940 (NO. 2). Pursuant to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940,*, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Legislation Suspension Order 1940 (No. 2). 2. The provisions of section eleven of the Motor-vehicles Act, 1924, are hereby suspended so far as they require the payment of annual license fees in respect of any motor-vehicle owned by a person carrying on business as a farmer if the vehicle is used exclusively in connection with that business and is used on roads or streets only in proceeding from one part of a farm to another part of the same farm or from one farm to another adjoining or adjacent farm which is owned or managed by the same person.
