Hastings.— DAVlD TEMPLE WILLIAMS’ bicycle has been recovered by the Hastings police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 935.)
Greymouth. —JOHN TENNENT, shop broken into: Fifteen signet rings have been recovered by the Wellington police, and Frederick Jones, referred to in Police Gazette, 1940, page 927, and Photographs, 1936, page 35, arrested for receiving them. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 808.)
Hokitika.— NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT’S (Public Works Department) gelignite has been recovered on the roadside near Bruce Bay. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 560.)
