Whangarei. — Herbert Harris Keith Maxfield, alias Bert Maxwell, unlawfully converting motor-car, has been arrested on another charge by the Rotorua police. He has been

interviewed regarding Bindon’s motor-car, but he denied the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 885.) Queen Street AViiarf (Auckland). — Owen Byrne, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 885.)

Freeman’s Bay. Maurice John Kenny, inquired for : No further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 582.)

Auckland.— Alexander Francis McConnell, failing to maintain, lias been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 495.)

Auckland. — George Johnson, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 751.)

Auckland.— Roy Alfred Anderson, default of balance of fine and costs, has paid the amount into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 788.)

Auckland. Edward Hugh Deery, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Hastings police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 905.)

Auckland. — Herbert James Ladbrook, theft, has been arrested by the Upper Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 906.)

Auckland.— Frederick Norman Lalor Walker, default of balance of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Havelock North police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 32.)

Auckland. Francis Bernard O’Kane, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Maungaturoto police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 526.)

Coromandel.—Arthur McQuoid, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Mount Albert police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 826.)

Te Awamutu.—Daniel Farrington, alias Donald Rex McDonald, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 78.)

Rotorua.— Albert Cousins, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Otahuhu police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 865.)

Gisborne. — Thomas Forde, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 496.)

Gisborne.— Leslie David Brooker, default of maintenance, has paid the amount into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 768.)

Raurimu.—Frederick Norman Lalor Walker, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Havelock North police. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 404.)

New Plymouth. Daniel Farrington, alias Donald Rex McDonald, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 323.)

Palmerston North. — James Alexander Findlay, casting offensive matter, has been served with the summons by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 846.)

Wellington.—James Alexander Findlay, failing to main-' tain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 789.)

Christchurch. — Brian Forbes Twiss, alias Brian Cedric Robertson, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Ahaura police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 426.)

Dunedin. — Frederick James Dewar, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1939, page 540): He . was not photographed, and the words “ Photo at Dunedin, 24/6/39 ” are to be deleted from all copies of the Police Gazette.
