Auckland.— Walter Henry Frank Doyle, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1909, page 271, and 1912, page 626) : He died in the Auckland Public Hospital on the 16th April last.
Auckland. Thomas Henry Wise, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the Mount Eden police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 302.)
Auckland. — Ernest Waby, alias Boyd, theft, has been interviewed by the New Plymouth and Stratford police, but no evidence resulted. He is identical with Ernest Stuart, referred to in Police Gazette, 1938, page 412. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 589.)
Auckland. — Dennis McGonagle Blake, breach of Motorvehicles Act, has been served with the summons by the Dargaville police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 617.)
Auckland. — Frank Drew, alias “ Mick ” Drew, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Wellington police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 660.)
Morrinsville. William Brewer, alias Wi Thompson, assault, has been arrested by the Taupo police. (See Police Gazette' 1938, page 643.)
Hamilton. — Edward Kelly, alias Patrick Kelly, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 617.)
Gisborne.— John Francis Wooster, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Shannon police. He assumed the name John Hamilton. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 629.)
Palmerston North. James Thomas White, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Levin police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 286.)
Palmerston North. Sidney Harold Edward Bowyer, theft, has been interviewed by the Hastings police, and he admitted the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 286.)
Palmerston North. Franklin John Smith, alias “ Pit Pot ” Smith, alias Howard Maitland, assault, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 442.)
Masterton. Norman Howard James’s countinghouse broken into : William George Collie has been interviewed in connection with the offence by the Masterton police, but no evidence resulted. The other suspect, William Clifford Berice Symons, is not now suspected. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 375.)
Masterton. — Herbert Allan Bowie, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 629.)
Wellington. — Ruth Frances Doherty, missing, has been located anfl has returned home. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 551.) ' ' •
Motueka. — Robert Stephenson, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Runanga police. His correct name is Robert Stevenson. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 602.)
Timaru.— George William Hunt, alias George Hunter, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 567, and 1938, page 286.)
Dunedin. — T. H. Smales, inquired for, has been located by the Invercargill police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 406.)
