ABSCONDER FROM STATE INSTITUTION.
Pukekohe.— 6th ultimo, from the licensed service of Robert James Glasgow, farmer, Onewhero, Bruce Byfield; age seventeen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, dark complexion, right middle finger missing ; usually dressed in a navy-blue suit and black shoes (no hat). When located the nearest Child Welfare Officer is to be notified of his whereabouts. (See Police Gazette, 1938, p. 204, and Photographs, p. 76.)
