Auckland. —James Smart Sharp, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Dargaville police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 302.)
Hamilton. — Charles Arthur William Hansen, suspected of breaking and entering dwelling of Joseph Varney, has been arrested by the Auckland police, and admits the offence. The watch and cigarette-case have been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 375.)
Hamilton. Charles Arthur William Hansen, suspected of theft from dwelling of Mona Nicklin, has been arrested by the Auckland police, and admits the offence, but the stolen property has not been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 375.)
Hamilton. Charles Arthur William Hansen, suspected of theft from dwelling of Laura Theresa Basstian, has been arrested by the Auckland police, and admits the offence. The Theosophical symbol has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 375.)
Putururu. —J. P. O’Keefe, alias Pat O’Keefe, false pretences, has been arrested by the Ruatoria police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 215.)
Gisborne. — Charles Hollywood McGee, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Hikurangi police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 252.)
Wairoa. — Maurice John Sims, alias Sim, theft, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 657.)
Stratford. — Joseph McCarthy, suspected of breaking, entering, and theft, has been interviewed by the Dunedin police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 199.)
Palmerston North. — George Everitt Vane Campbell, default of costs, has paid the amount to the Seatoun police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 152.)
Wellington.— Ronald Arthur Hassell, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 302.)
Wellington. — Robert Pengelly, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Lyttelton police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 270.)
Nelson. — Charles Albert Muir, missing, was found dead at Nelson on the Ist instant. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 326.)
Christchurch.- Patrick John O’Keefe, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Ruatoria police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 388.)
Waikouaiti. —Robert McCowan, escaping from mental hospital, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 324.)
