SPECIAL NOTICE.

Dunedin. At about 12.30 a.m. on. the 25th December last, James Cathirin McKenzie, 17 Macandrew Road, was found seriously injured at the corner of Vogel and Gordon Streets, and he died in the hospital a few hours later. A post-mortem examination revealed serious crushing of the ribs and internal injuries which caused death. These were consistent with his having been run over by a motorvehicle. He was last seen alive at 6 p.m. on 24th December, 1937, and his movements between then and the time when he was found injured are not known. Any information that might afford evidence of the identity of the person who caused the injuries, or evidence of the victim’s movements prior to his death is to be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Dunedin.
