UNCLAIMED PROPERTY.

Auckland. lnquiries are to be made to establish the ownership of the following articles which were found in possession of Henry Herbert Donelly, who was convicted of stealing them (see Police Gazette, 1937, page 85): A rug, grey with white, blue, and brown check squares, large brown stripe along edge; a leather music satchel, leather handle, fastened with two straps and two buckles; a double-ended spanner, fit in. nut one end and £ in. nut other end, S.A.E., British make; an 8 in. Stilson spanner; an 8 in. screwdriver, wooden handle, part of which is missing; a small shifting spanner, about 4 in. long ; a double-ended spanner, fit j in. nut one end and -fc in. nut other end, British make; a f in. drill about 7 in. long ; a § in. double ended spanner; a pair of plyers ; and a small shifting spanner about 3 in. long.

Otahuiiu. —lnquiries are to be made for the owner of the bicycle described hereunder which was found in the yard of the Criterion Hotel on the 26th October last: A gentlemen’s sky-blue, No. 105 8., rusty patches on frame, free-wheel back-pedalling brake, three-coil spring leather LaGrande saddle, upturned nickel-plated handle bars, rat-trap pedals, grey tire on each wheel, black rear mudguard, “ Farmers ” on gear wheel. It appeared to have been left in lieu of a bicycle, the property of Hugh Roberts, which was unlawfully converted, but was subsequently recovered.
