Auckland. —27th September last, from a parked motorcar in Victoria Street, the property of RICHARD ARMSTRONG, Maungataniwha, Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, a folding Zeiss Ikon camera, 4-5 lens, size about 51 in. by 3J in., takes sixteen exposures on ordinary film; and a brown leather camera-case, with “A.J.” on inside flap: total value, £ls. Identifiable.

Auckland.— 3rd September last, from the train at Otahuhu, the property of BEATRICE LOUISA FOX, Pukekohe, a ladies’ brown leather handbag with ' fawn trimmings, size about 8 in. by 6 in., containing four £1 notes in an envelope addressed A. V. Fox ” ; a ladies’ heavy gold open-face watch with heavily scrolled back ; a packet of midget playingcards ; and two handkerchiefs : total value, £9 ss. Watch and bag identifiable.

He shared a room with complainant at the above-mentioned address, and after the latter had gone to work he returned to the room, but left soon after taking with him some of his effects. Hope, in favour of “ Cash,” dated 25/10/35 : total value, £22, Cheque identifiable.

Napier. — the 24th August and 6th September last, the dwelling of EVELYN FLORENCE CLARK, Westshore, was broken into and the following stolen : A ladies’ one-piece frock, yellow, black, and grey spots on rusty-coloured ground ; a ladies’ blue print frock with frill around bottom similar to pleating, red, white, and blue spots, small bow in front, long sleeves with pleating up sides ; a ladies’ pale-green taffeta frock with silver-coloured flowers all over, panniers on side, silver-coloured trimmings on front; a ladies’ deepblue three-piece pyjama suit, edges trimmed with red, white, and blue square on front, three-quarter dressing-gown ; two pairs of ladies’ pink bloomers; a pair of gentlemen’s tan shoes, size 6|- ; and a small box containing £6 : total value, £l6 10s. Identifiable except money.

Levin. —EMlLY MUDGWAY’S dwelling broken into: Edmond Norman Connolly, referred to in Police Gazette, 1935, page 629, and John Bethune St. Clair Malcolm, referred to in Police Gazette, 1935, page 653, have been charged with the offence. Upper Riccarton. sth September last, from the dwelling of DELICIA KING, 3 Avonhead Road, a six-valve Majestic radio-set, brown-stained cabinet about 2 ft. square, No. 17345, “ King ” written in lead-pencil under number, slightly scratched on left-hand corner near back ; value, £2l. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Two Men (names unknown) — (1) Age about twenty-five, hawker, dark complexion, wavy dark hair ; dressed in a brown suit (no hat); foreign appearance : and (2) age about forty, hawker, medium height, dark complexion ; dressed in a dark suit and felt hat. They were driving an old grey or green five-seater tourer motor-car, thought to be a Dodge.
