APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — James Fleming, failing to maintain, committed suicide at East Melbourne, Australia. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 579.)

Auckland. William Ernest Hewins, alias Bill Brown, breaking and entering, has been arrested by the Wellington police. The stolen jewellery has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 505.).

Auckland.— lsaac Henry Cutting, alias “ Snowy ” Cutting, conspiracy, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 505.)

Auckland.— Richard George Stewart, inquired for, has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1933, page 743.)

Auckland. — Charles Thomas Wood, false pretences, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. He is identical with man of same name referred to in Police Gazette, 1931, page 90, and Photographs, 1928, page 80. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 521.)

Auckland. — Frank Dicker Russell, default of fine and costs, Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 505.)

Auckland. — Roland Gaffey, default of maintenance, has paid the amount to the Morrinsville police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 308.)

Balmoral. Winter Browne, inquired for, has been interviewed by the New Plymouth police. He denies being identical with Charles Anderson, referred to in Police Gazette, 1932, page 581. (See Police Gazette, 1933, page 686.)

Hamilton. — Howard Ronald Cooper, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 523.)

Whakatane. — Henry Charles Sydney Kevey, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 521.)

Eltham. Thomas Paton Reid, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Oxford police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 522.)

Taihape. — lvan Slackick, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 465.)

Napier. — Edward Morris, default of balance of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Dannevirke police. (See Police Gazette, 1933, page 650.)

Marton. — Mark Hannah, alias Michael Hannah, alias Harry Harris, alias “ The Sheik,” failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 453.)

Feilding. — Lionel Roy Calvert, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Papatoetoe police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 482.)

Palmerston North.— Morton McGill, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Ponsonby police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 454.)

Wellington. William George Lamberth, failing to provide : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1933, pages 572 and 755.)

Wellington. — Spencer Faulkner, alias Scoullar, indecently assaulting a male, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. He assumed the name Jack Smart. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 164.)

Wellington. — Ernest William Tucker, inquired for, has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 506.)

Lyttelton. — Davis, ship-desertion, has been arrested by the Remuera police. His correct name is Aubrey Burnard Davis. He is identical with Aubrey Bernard Davis, referred to in Police Gazette, 1933, page 748. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 829.)

Timaru. Thomas O’Neill, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Balclutha police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 506.)
