- Police Identification-card Stolen. Wellington. — During the night of the 2nd instant, the dwelling of Constable Walter Sydney Hammond was broken into and his police identification-card, No. 2988, stolen. The card may be unlawfully used, and members of the Force are to be on the alert to discover it.
