Gisborne. Since the 6th ultimo, George Hugh Beattie Lockett, age sixty, height 6 ft., dentist, native of Australia, strong build, sallow complexion, grey hair going bald, short neck, defective sight and wears glasses ; probably dressed in a light-brown suit and tan shoes Jnp_hat). Fears are entertained for his safety. /J 3

Hokitika. —Since the 16th October last, John Peake, age sixty-three, height about 5 ft. 9 in., clerk, slight build, fair complexion, grey hair turning white, small brown moustache, artificial teeth ; dressed in a dark-grey suit, box-calf Avon Bortey boots, with studded rubber soles, size 8, fawn-grey soft felt hat, pink underwear with flannel binder, stiff collar, and long military overcoat, and carried a ladies’ umbrella. Fears are entertained for his safety.

Christchurch. —Since the 16th ultimo, Robert W. White, age sixty-two, height about 5 ft. 8-1- in., gold-digger, native of New Zealand, fresh complexion, light hair turning grey, light blue eyes, fair moustache turning grey, limps on left leg; dressed in a navy-blue suit, black shoes, white shirt with thin stripes, and light felt hat.
