SPECIAL NOTICE.
Manslaughter. Dunedin. —At 11.45 p.m. on the 27th ultimo, George Macandrew Frost, a railway guard, whilst cycling in Anderson’s Bay Road, was struck and killed by a Biuick sedan motorcar. The car did not stop, and the driver appeared to accelerate ; glass from the wind-screen and head-lamps and a parking-light were found at the scene of the fatality. At 8 a.m. on the following day the motor-car was found abandoned at Eglington Road. It was later ascertained that the car had been stolen from Stafford Street, between 9.30 p.m. and the time the fatality occurred, Any information which may lead to the identity of the offender is to be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Dunedin.
