Memorandum:] Sale of Lysol and Substitutes for Lysol. Attention is directed to Order in Council of 9th March, 1923, declaring Lysol to be a poison within the meaning of Part I of the Poisons Act, vide Police Gazette, 1923, page 261. It has been reported to me that Lysol is freely sold at general stores by unlicensed persons. Inquiries should be made, and, if necessary, action taken. A. H. Wright, Commissioner of Police.
