APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Rawene. — John Bowes, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 431.)

Devonport.James McArthur, deserting Navy, has been arrested by the Mount Cook (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 601.)

Auckland. — Mrs. Robb, alias Brodie, alias Deacon, alias Margaret Dean, alias Margaret Durkin, alias Margaret Duncan, alias Margaret Walker, alias Margaret Twomey, obtaining credit by fraud, has been arrested by the Oamaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 477, and following paragraph.)

Wellington. Mrs. Brodie, alias Robb, alias Margaret Durkin, alias Margaret Duncan, &e., false pretences, has been arrested by the Oamaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 598, and preceding paragraph.)

Newmarket. — Robert Harle Giles, missing, has been located. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 578.)

Hamilton. Alexander Johnston Macrae, theft, has been arrested by the Timaru police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1924, page 401.)

Waipori Bay. Clyde Doig, alias Reginald Black, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Mercer police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 420.)

Wanganui. Reg Hollis, indecent assault on a male, has been found drowned in the Public Baths. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 010.)

Palmerston North. — Albert Purcell, breaches of prohibition order, has been served with summonses by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 402.)

Wellington. — Henry James Day, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 420.)

Dunedin.— Henry. Alfred Sims, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Whakatane police. He is identical with Henry Alfred Timms, alias Gunthorpe, alias Thomas Preston, alias Gordon, alias Watson, referred to in Police Gazette, 1924, page 482, and Photographs, 1923, page 75. Invercargill. — John Watson, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Tuatapere police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 421.)

Invercargill.— Elven Lawrence Larsen, alias Arthur Baxter, alias White, alias Lawson, escaping from prison, has been arrested by the Roxburgh police. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 598.)
