Between the 20th and 22nd ultimo a store in Church Street, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Post and Telegraph Department), was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom: Soldering-irons, screwdrivers, a spirit-level, planes, pliers, a draw-vice, spanners, chain-adjusters, gimlets, brace and bits, draw-tongs, and other tools, most of them with P. & T. on them ; also several spokes, four tins of red air-drying enamel, and an acetylene motor-bicycle lamp with generator : total value, £25. The articles with “P. & T.” on them only identifiable.
