Brisbane (Queensland). lnquiries are requested for John Nelson, alias George Nelson, alias William Saunders, alias John Wilson, alias John Wallace (for photograph and description see New Zealand Police Gazette, 1920, page 139, and Queensland Police Gazette, page 129). He was bailed to appear at thq Sup|sjne Court, Brisbane, on the 11th instant, on aio barge of breaking, entering, and theft, but failed- to appear, and his recognizances were estreated. He is an expert safe-breaker, and is usually'armed. He works on wharves, is well acquainted with firemen on, ships, who may assist him to leave Australia. He dresses well in a blue-serge or very dark-tweed suit, black or grey Stetson hat, black patent-leather boots or tan shoes, and he obtained a quantity of black dye for his hair, which is turning grey.
