SPECIAL NOTICE.
Arson. Stratford. —On the 27th June last a wilful attempt was made to set fire to an unoccupied dwelling at Waipuku, the property of Robert McKinney Morrison, retired farmer, Stratford, by fixing in a wardrobe a lighted candle, round which was packed a quantity of paper saturated with oil. Any information regarding the offence is to be communicated to the Inspector of Police, New Plymouth.
