Auckland.—AßTHUß CROMBIE’S portmanteau, &c., stolen : Thomas Leslie Walton has been arrested for the offence by the Otira police and the portmanteau recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 208.)
Whitianga.— JOSEPH JACKMAN’S store broken into : Alfred Westlake, alias Skelton, alias William Thompson, has been arrested by the Queensland police. Some of the stolen property was found in his possession. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 304.)
Riverton. LEARY’S bicycle has been recovered, (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 526.)
