SPECIAL INQUIRY.
Murder. Opotiki. —Paul Zambucka murdered: Peeti Topi and Rutene Topi have been arrested for the offence by the Gisborne police. Deceased was in possession at the time of his death of a cheque for £2 Os. Bd., drawn on the Bank of New Zealand by the Native Land Board, Rotorua, in favour of Te Owai Wirepa, and signed by T. Anaru ; and a cheque for £3 10s. 9d., drawn on the Bank of New Zealand by the Native Land Board, Rotorua, in favour of H. Tawhai, and signed by T. Anaru. Special efforts are to be made to trace the cheques. (See Polic6 Gazette, 1921, page 705.) ////^^
